Hello and welcome to the portfolio site of Graphic Designer Adam Hall, based in the Cincinnati, OH area. On this website you will find my personal graphic design portfolio along with my personal resume and work history.
I have been designing professionally since 2010, but design and art have been a part of my life since a young age; I have done illustration, oil and acrylic painting, digital graphics and websites. My design services have been mostly freelanced in Ohio but my work also can be seen as far in the US as Scottsdale, AZ.
I hold a Bachelors in Graphic Design from Shawnee State University in Portsmouth, OH where I learned from some great designers. I received education in graphic design, logo design, marketing and promotional design. In the Fall of 2013 to early 2014 I attended the University of Cincinnati studying Web Design and programming and have been building websites for some of my clients. I am proficient with digital tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign as well as Adobe Dreamweaver, HTML and CSS for web design.
In May 2011, right out of college, I was privileged to work full time as a intern with Marathon Petroleum Company in their Learning Services Department specializing in the design and development of the company’s employee training programs for the web. In September 2013 I worked as a part-time contractor with RDI Marketing Services and Stratamark Dynamic Solutions creating original logos and other graphic designs under their Creative/Marketing team. Presently since early 2014 I've been working as the primary graphic designer for SolTerra Communications making more logos, magazines and websites for clients all over the US!! I also do some freelance work on my own as well!
All of these positions have helped me to learn to work in a demanding, fast paced atmosphere and how to work with a team to achieve a desired goal all while giving the best quality possible. I am thankful for the opportunity to work with and learn so much from each and every one of these brilliant designers and programmers!
Everyday I strive to apply these experiences to my own freelancing design work!
